Community Connections Invites You to a Non-Partisan Day of Unity (January 20)

We are thrilled to share with you an online experience that will take place on January 20th. This event is the brainchild of our own (Ashley Whitham), and it is just the call for unity we need on that particular day.

Rather than being political or partisan, this experience will point our hearts towards what is most important, journeying with the Spirit towards communities of peace.

As it says on the flyer, there will be a “Zoom room” open all day for people to stop by, meditate, add prayers, and a few times they can participate in short worships.

7:00 a.m. Pacific: Prayer Room Opens
10:00 a.m. Pacific: “Martin Luther King, Jr. Remembrance”
3:00 p.m. Pacific: “Beloved Community”
7:00 p.m. Pacific: “Unity Worship”

Join in community January 20th for prayer, reflection and worship. The online prayer room will be open starting at 7:00 a.m. Pacific, with a slideshow running continuously til 9:00 p.m. Pacific. Visitors will be allowed to write their own prayers in the chat box, that may be added to the slideshow as the day goes.

The private meditation will be interrupted for three short worships during the day: at 10:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. Pacific.
